ESAB has been working to achieve global standardisation of warning labels and safety data sheets for welding consumables. The objective has been to develop a standard that can meet legal and relevant other requirements on all markets as well as significantly improve product hazard clarity. The project is on-going as legal requirements change, such as the new REACH regulations in Europe, and as ESAB enters new countries. Updates are provided periodically to the Charter International Board.
